1. Identify leads and make sales pitch
2. Develop and maintaining good working relationships with intermediaries and direct clients
3. Participate in the introduction of new products through regular visits and frequent communication with intermediaries and direct clients
4. Respond to queries and concerns from clients
5. Servicing existing clients
6. Follow up on renewals for general insurance business
7. Follow up premium collections
8. Forward proposal forms to underwriting department and follow up for accurate execution.
9. Ensure credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors’ products
10. Credit control management of general insurance debtors
11. Provide coaching and training to brokers and independent agents
